Our schedule
Our entire day is divided into three sessions, morning, lunchtime and afternoon. Our activities include singing, story time, music and movement. Toast and fruit (provided by the Foodhub) at 10am where the “Please and thank you” song accompanied by Makaton signs are sung. We have special helpers to hand out plates and cups.
Sports day
Sports is an integral part of the children's life at Little Greenfields Preschool C.I.C. The children are grouped in colour-coded groups and participate in a wide range of kids' sports games and activities. Parents are also invited to join the kids on this day.
Forest Days
Forest days is an outdoor education delivery model in which the children visit natural spaces to learn personal, social and technical skills at the local primary school.
Cookery day
Our cooking activity encourages children to develop their creativity and taste. Your child will learn the basics of cooking, from names of ingredients and utensils used to following the recipe. They can also take back with them what they have cooked and share with their families and friends.
Outings & Visits
We get the children involved in the local community. Our outings include visits to a local shop, post office, market and park. We also encourage our parents to join us for our annual trips, to spend the day together. A staff member will inform you in advance of any outings that involve the transportation of children away from the preschool.
